Prof. Dr. Wartoyo, MSI. He is a Professor of Islamic Economics and Finance at the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, Indonesia. He holds a doctoral degree in Islamic Economics and has extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership in Islamic economics and finance since 2011. His research focuses on Islamic financial institutions, Islamic banking, Islamic social finance, sustainable finance, the halal industry, and the digital transformation of the Islamic financial sector. His recent work explores the role of Islamic finance in promoting financial inclusion, sustainable economic development, and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in Indonesia and other emerging Muslim economies. He has published widely in reputable national and international journals, including Scopus-indexed and SINTA-accredited publications. His scholarly work addresses topics such as Islamic banking efficiency, sukuk, Islamic microfinance, financial literacy, digital Islamic finance, institutional governance, and sustainable Islamic finance. Beyond research, he actively contributes to academic development as a reviewer, editor, research supervisor, and invited speaker at national and international conferences.
